Creepy Snake Wreath

I was looking for something a little different than the regular Halloween wreaths I have. I like "scary" Halloween decorations and there is nothing scarier to me than snakes. I know many people keep snakes as pets and God love them, but I think snakes are gross.

This wreath is very easy to make. Start with a plain, grapevine wreath. These can be purchased at Michael's or any craft store at a low cost.

Hot glue rubber snakes to the grapevine wreath. I could not find black rubber snakes ANYWHERE. I looked at a number of different dollar stores and the toy department at Target and Walmart, and all I could find were these colorful ones.

If you find black snakes, spraypaint your wreath black BEFORE attaching the snakes.

Once the snakes were hotglued to the wreath, I hung it up in the garage and spraypainted it with Rustoleum gloss black. To make the snakes' eyes stand out, I glued tiny red gems where their eyes should be and painted their little tounges red using craft paint.

I also used a silver pen to highlight some detail on their bodies.
